Index to the Writings of Mark Joseph Young:

I am now published in many sites all over the web.  The number of pages has grown large enough that a single-page index is no longer useful.  Accordingly, this index has been revamped into a central index to sub-indices related to specific materials, to give some idea of what I have written and where it is found, so that those with an interest in my writings can more easily locate those pages which are on subjects which interest them.  These are listed in alphabetical order by page title.

New!  There are now over six hundred pages (by best estimates) carrying material by M. Joseph Young, and knowing when something is added is not easy.  This new sub-index contains pages recently added, in reverse chronological order, so that those who have been here before can quickly discover whether any new pages have been added.

My best work isn't on the web--but you can find out about it

Biblical and Theological Materials:  I've got two undergraduate degrees with long suits in this area, and taught at the undergraduate level for a while.  Although my collegiate-level studies aren't on the web at this point, several people have found some of these materials useful or interesting.

Biographical Pages:  These pages contain personal information.  Of course, there's personal information in many of the things I've written, but this material is more pointedly about my life, my history, or my credentials

Christian Song Lyrics:  I've composed more songs than web pages, and some of them have lyrics which are good enough to stand alone (without the music).

Download Access Pages:  There are a couple sites which describe and organize download materials, programs and documents which are useful, usually for role playing gamers.

Intellectually Challenging Materials:  This is here, the page which contains links to pages whose common thread is that they require or stimulate thought at a deeper level, whether drawn from theology, law, role playing, or any other area.

Internet and Business Materials:  With the introduction of a new site on web site design, it seems appropriate to create a new sub-index including some older pages along with the new ones.

Forms and Survey Pages:  I'm not very good with forms, but they seem to be a necessity on the web-and I'd appreciate your answers to any of these.

Law, Legalities, and Politics:  I also hold a Juris Doctore, with honors, and have applied some thought to a few issues in that area, including Internet law.

Links Pages:  Everybody need a page which connects to the sites of others.  I have a few of these; and although they do serve to connect my several sites together, they also connect to sites of friends, sites related to similar materials, and other sites.

Role Playing Game Materials:  There are so many kinds of RPG materials among my pages that it seems appropriate to sort these into sub-categories right in this index.

AD&D Character Creation Pages:  There is an entire web site devoted the complex process of putting together a character for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, but it seems inappropriate not to index these pages somewhere.

Excerpts from Multiverser:  To introduce the Internet community to the Multiverser game, much has beendone.  These pages are those which contain material directly quoted from copyrighted publications, uploaded to the web by permission so that you can read it.

Martial Arts in RPG's:  With the addition of a web site dedicated to martial arts in AD&D and Multiverser, the number of pages related to this aspect of gaming grew to the point that a separate index page on the subject seemed appropriate.

Multiverser-Related Materials:  This is a more comprehensive index, filled with the many pages which explain, amplify, illustrate, demonstrate, or promote the most flexible, most comprehensive role playing game system to date.

RPG Materials of General Application and Interest:  Although most of my materials are directly related to Advanced Dungeons & Dragons or Multiverser, some of these pages have value to those involved in any of the hundreds of other role playing games.

RPG Story Pages:  Although I've written fiction of various types, the only samples to date on the web are accounts of role playing game sessions--which some gamers (including me) find exciting and interesting.

Supplemental Materials for Dungeons & Dragons:  Supplementary rules, player aids, referee aids, programs, articles--after almost two decades as a dungeon master, I've accumulated a lot of material, and put some of it up on several web sites, all for use with the original RPG.

Section Index Pages:  I didn't want to overlook any pages; although some of these pages fit in other categories, others don't have a convenient home.  They share in common that they are created primarily as a way of organizing other related pages, and so are like links pages, except that all the links are usually within the same site.

Series:  Sometimes an alphabetical listing of articles is inadequate, particularly if some of the articles were written as part of a whole.  This page lists article series such as the Gaming Outpost Game Ideas Unlimited series and the Faith and Gaming articles on the Christian Gamers Guild site, and includes the individual articles within each in the order they were published.

Temporal Anomalies Pages:  This section has attracted the attention of intelligent science fiction fans, including recognition as an "Event Horizon Hot Spot"; it deals with time travel in the movies, resolving the time lines with a new approach to understanding time.

Where Will You End Up Next?:  The mystery page, not described anywhere else, and only reached through this banner:
